Another 10 years later

Ten years ago today, I was in Istanbul (Turkey) for the TIPA General Assembly. Istanbul was chosen because TIPA had recently expanded its membership to include members from Asia and Australia, and this city is literally on the border between Europe and Asia. How different things are today! There is still no chance to organise such an international event with visitors from all over the globe, so once again the TIPA General Assembly will be held online this year. I trust this is the last time we have to resort to that, and that next year we will all meet again in person.
